Matazi Weathers
is a temporal and spatial film farmer, curator, educator, creative producer and filmmaker from Los Angeles (via Twiggs, Georgia and Dayton, Ohio) constellating image-making networks across the African diaspora as an experiential researcher. They currently are part of the Feature Narrative Program Committee at BlackStar Film Festival and founder of Black Bloom, a Black farmers’ cooperative in LA, and formerly was the Film Curator at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. |
