Rhythmic Dream Architextures

December 2025
Yole!Africa
Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo

Explore the different textures and architectures of dreams: daydreaming, visioning, re-membering, sensory recall, ancestral histories, memories -  as imprints of emotion and experience on the spirit. Through digital and celluloid based filmmaking techniques, immersion in dream and meditation; audio experimentation through natural landscapes will help us go deeper into the elemental processes of filmmaking while reconnecting with the power of visioning beyond sight. Students ideate, create and edit their own films or work in groups, mapping dreams and memories into new sensorial translations of cinematic form.
